Just Finished

I think the the best thing about this game is that it won't allow you to just mash buttons. Just about everyone of the boss battles requires you to use some kind of strategy, tactics, and planning. It has been enjoyable but frustrating at times. I almost quit a few times because I kept losing the fight but a trip to the forums or just a little more thought revealed the solution. I'm afraid playing games like Gothic 3, Witcher, Fallout 3 and the like have made me lazy. I usually play on easy difficuly but Drakensang didn't give me the chance. I don't regret it.
It took me about 12 hours over 5 days to get through Drakensang mountain and it is quite an interesting end. Thank-you Radon Labs for a good game.

Did I understand that correctly: You needed 12 hours for the final fights on Mount Drakensang?

I finished it last night (or early this morning, actually) as well. The final fight was really frustrating for me. I ran out of potions fast, then I read on this forum here that Oneberry juice works as well, and luckily, I still had enough of that. So, with only my mage left, dealing the final blow, while being hit by a stone golem at the same time, the outro movie started to play...

With many great games, the end came too abrupt - I would have loved to get off the mountain, sell some goodies, finish some of the quests that I didn't finish (again, I don't like abrupt endings for that reason alone), and bask in the glory of having defeated all evil... Oh well.

Not sure if I am going to play it again. Still have to play the enhanced edition of The Witcher first.
