STUCK! Can't finish game! Please help.

I am near the end of chapter 7. I have to go meet Arom at the tower to take on the dragon. I already have the key. I can see the ? showing his location on the map, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get to it. Can someone please tell me exactly how to get there? I am ready to give up the game, which I am enjoying very much until now.

Just go to the western gate (where you fought the goblins with the captain)
Then go north
You are actually suppose to go below the cliff
If you can't find the path just click on the ground below and the auto-pathing system will take care of the rest

Yes, the trick is: Even though it is a tower, you first have to go down, not up.
