Running a German version of the game in English

I am an English speaker living in Germany. I recently bought Drakensang Gold Edition 'Das Schwarze Auge' and discovered that it doesnt have an option to install in English. Is there any way to play the game in English, I did try using files from the English demo, but the game kept failing when I did that.

as far as I know, the "Gold" version is only available in the German language.

You could try ordering the game from the Benelux countries in English instead.

(Or try using this game as a tool to learn or improve the German language )

Apart from that, I have no clue.

You could try asking around at RPGWatch as well, by the way. Maybe someone there has a better solution ? (Although I don't know of any.)
